L.X Mitev is an award-winning writer, director, and producer from Yellowknife, NT, Canada. They write for film/TV, theatre, comics, and podcasts, with their latest feature film (Prof.) winning over 30 awards around the world.

They received their training in New York and Stratford, a BFA from the University of Victoria, and their master’s degree in Creative Writing from Harvard.

L.X is the co-creator, writer, director, and voice actor for the hit podcast, Skylar & Bones, an Ambies® and People’s Choice Award honoree. They are a BAFF winner (Vultures), a Shore Scripts winner (Shadowboxing), a Black List Endorsed writer, and has multiple projects in the Top 1% of all Coverfly scripts. They are a proud WGC member.

L.X lives with family, consisting of spouse and kids and dogs and cats. During free time, they can be found playing sports, playing chess, and drinking cortados at their local cafe.
